🔗Connecting Your Bókun Account to Xplorie

🧭 Overview

Xplorie integrates with RMS Bókun to provide a seamless connection between your activity inventory and our guest-facing e-commerce experience. This connection allows Xplorie lodging guests to view real-time availability, reserve experiences, and receive valid tickets or barcodes—without requiring manual management on your side.


 

📋 Before You Begin

✅ Make sure you have:

  • 🏢 Organization Name (as listed in Bókun)

  • 🔑API Key

  • 🔐 API Secret

  • 🎟 Product IDs / Experience Listings you want available on Xplorie

  • ⏰ Redemption rules or booking cutoff times


🔗 How to Connect

Step 1 – Gather Your Credentials
In your Bókun account:

  1. Navigate to Settings → API

  2. Generate an API Key and API Secret

  3. Note your Organization Name exactly as it appears in Bókun

Step 2 – Send to Xplorie
Email📧Matt Kusar the following details:
Subject: Bókun Integration – [Your Organization Name]

Include:

  • Organization Name

  • API Key & Secret

  • Product list (IDs & names)

  • Redemption rules / cutoff times

Step 3 – Configuration
Xplorie will connect to your Bókun API and map your products for display on our booking platform.

Step 4 – Testing
We’ll run test bookings to confirm:

  • Products display correctly

  • Pricing matches your Bókun setup

  • Bookings confirm and ticket delivery works

Step 5 – Go Live
Once approved, your Bókun products will be bookable to Xplorie guests.


🔍 Troubleshooting

Issue 💡 Possible Cause 🛠 Solution
Products missing Product IDs not sent or set inactive in Bókun Verify product is active in Bókun and resend IDs
Booking errors Incorrect API Key/Secret Regenerate in Bókun and update Xplorie
